Is the Shrub heading 'to the ranch'...
.. with 'no scheduled return date' to hide from what's going to go down when Fitz lowers the boom?

Does he figure he can hide there from the Federal Marshall's?

From the house/senate leaders who will tell him it's time to go?

Is he going to hide behind a phalanx of Texas Rangers? Declare Crawford the 'capitol' so he can ignore everything that will happen?

Or.. (paranoia).. be WAY outside the fallout zone for the next LIHOP?

1. I wonder how many Texas DUers we could get to Crawford this weekend?
It could be amusing if we had a thousand or so picketing the clown, with treason, Plame and DSM signs.

4. Remember what happened last time he took a long August trip to the ranch
I wonder if he'll receive a PDB early in August warning of potential attacks (which he will completely ignore).

7. LIHOP? You mean MIHOP.
"Nuclear terrorism exercises" are scheduled for August in South Carolina IIRC. Doubtless Cheney will set one off to create a pretext for nuking Iran.

The part that scares me is that I'm having a hard time finding out where the rest of the "exercises" are so I can get out of the blast radius.

8. even he gets bored there!
"Ranger George" evidently doesn't get enough kicks from talking to the bodark trees and the armadillos. He's been known to cut his holiday short before, claiming that it's for Laura's sake they're heading back to Washington.

Since when has he ever respected her wishes? And what kind of "gentleman" would use his wife as an excuse like that?
