now you need a prescription? That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

Let's assume everyone has medical insurance and can see a doctor :eyes:.

Hmm...maybe, just maybe, this will lead to a health care crisis as people have to see an actual doctor every time they have the damn sniffles!!!

argh!! Dumbest.Law.Ever!!!

1. I think we should start recalling Congressmen until they repeal it
On the other hand, they can probably block the recall process.

2. the real health care crises is that kids like mine with no health
insurance will be make to suffer with colds and allergies just so SOMEBODY can put a few more dollars in their pockets. War on Drugs??? yeah, uh-huh. So now we are going to punish tens of millions of innocent people just because of a few thousand people are using it for Meth? Makes sense in Bizzaro-world I guess. Well, I'm afraid I'm going to have to send ANOTHER letter to my congressman.

This really is a straight up dumb Dem bill to fight meth labs. Part of a bunch of other new regulations. Not only will kids like yours suffer, in Oregon anyway, but it will add to the cost of state Medicaid too. Not only that, I see the headlines in about 2 years. "Meth cookers use Medicaid to buy sudafed." Yes, you should write your Congressman because Medicaid is paid for by federal tax dollars too. Not to mention seniors and medicare and the new prescription drug bill, and we have a BUNCH of seniors in this state.

5. Yep. Dumbest Law Ever, indeed.
Our politicians are sure proud of themselves for doing nothing but putting an unfunded mandate on the backs of Oregon citizens, with no positive outcome at the end of the wasted day.
