Hackett has to win in Ohio |
|
He was on Hardball last week and here is a clip:
MATTHEWS: What is a chicken hawk?
HACKETT: Chicken hawk is somebody who is not willing to fight the fight of their age, their generation, and speaks brashly and with unnecessary bravado when they're sending other kids and other sons and daughters, other folks' sons and daughters, off to war.
It is -- encompasses language like, bring it on. It encompasses language like, you're with us or you're against us and we're going to take it to you. And I think that's dangerous. And I've got to tell you, you know, when we're over there fighting in Iraq, Marines and soldiers, and we hear language like, bring it on coming from the Oval Office, that's a danger. We don't need that. That's encouraging an...
MATTHEWS: Paul, why did you call -- why did you call , whose office you respect, a chicken hawk?
HACKETT: I respect the office of the president of the United States. I said those words. I meant them. I stand by them. I would say them again.
He has to win. It would send a great message to Congress, to the President, to the world, that we have had enough of this crap.

1. Even if he doesn't win... |
|
...we managed to get dubya called a chickenhawk on national TV.
That's worth something. As are a lot of the other PR accomplishments of this campaign.
Though a victory would be soooooo much sweeter.

I hope he wins too. I've seen clips of Schdmit and she's just like the rest of them. Morons. She didn't offer anything to why people should vote for her except "supporting the president" and being "pro-family" nonsense. Hackett in all his interviews tried to get out as much as he could about his policies and beliefs. I hope he wins too. Tomorrow is the big day!

Unfortunately the odds are way against him, it's a solid Repuke district. Voted over 60% for the dumbass last November.

If Democrats lose this one...considering that it's a Iraq War Veteran who just happens to be a Democrat against an witch looking BushBot, that means that the Democratic party is really in the toilet, or that Republicans are unpatriotic and don't support the troops, or that the election machines are really fucking us over....or it means all three.
We need to win!

The only thing that would make it better is a piece of foam falling off, subtly circled or with one of those TV Look Here arrows pointing to it down in the corner.
