6. They would if they have enough votes -- which is a big if with |
|
people like Lieberman and Ben Nelson. I am sure it would be Reid's inclination since he is mad as hell and the Dems are made to look totally irrelevant

I don't think either thing is actually that important. Not to The People and not to Democrats, anyway.
They're most important in what they do internally, in the way of unity and dissent, within the Republican Party.

7. I really don't think Bolton will last at the U.N. |
|
I think there will end up being world outrage at the guy, and he will step down by the end of the year. Just a little prediction.

They will keep abusing power and doing whatever they want until they are stopped.
This is another in a long list of outrages that only point out how invulnerable they are and how incapable the opposition party, the public, and the media are of really doing much to stop them.
My God....we leveled cities, used napalm, tortured kids and innocent detainees, killed hundreds of thousands, invaded a country on false pretenses....and what happens?
It is PROVED that the WH altered scientific reports on global warming and on the impacts of grazing on wild lands...and what happens?
Government (civilians) officials out a CIA agent, blame the CIA for WMD mistakes, purge the CIA of party line dissenters....and what happens???
This, and more, is crazy, crazy stuff that should never have happened.
Some days I have hope....others, like today, I think we are past the point of no return as a real democracy.

9. The Democrats do not need an excuse to filibuster Roberts |
|
We should filibuster Roberts because he is just too far to the right. His far right conservative views will hurt the country in the long run. As for Bolton, he is just a plane idiot that should never have been nominated. Of course all one has to do is look at the idiot that does the nominating.
