IMPORTANT QUESTION REGARDING BOLTON
Now that he is a UN ambassador.....does he gain diplomatic immunity against charges from the Fitzgerald team???? If it is found that he was the key player in leaking classified information - can Fitzgerald still subpoena/indict him - or does he get to hide behind the diplomatic immunity blanket now???????????? I'm just wondering how your laws work.......

3. Thank you
I was just wondering how that works. Seems fishy to appoint him now that he admits to lying to the senate.

4. Diplomatic immunity only applies internationally, not domestically.
Thank goodness.

6. Yup. You don't pick on our diplomats, and we won't pick on yours.
Keeps everybody "safe" and free to carry on raping and pillaging the planet and its various peoples.

7. I doubt this gives him immunity for anything that happened prior
And I believe diplomatic immunity only goes so far anyway.

I grew up in an area with lots of foreign diplomats and I know that the police didn't bother with routine alcohol checks and such (common in the rest of the country).
However, drunk drivers endangering other traffic would be pulled over and handled accordingly regardless of their status.

8. What it does do is potentially get him out of the country when it gets hot
Sort of gives him an excuse to be "involved in important matters of state"..... Inconveniently unavailable for further grand jury testimony.

Who's going to force him to testify, his boss?
