My friend's pet goat.
Edited on Mon Aug-01-05 12:36 PM by Cyrano
I was talking to a friend, (actually, more of an acquaintance than a friend), yesterday, and he told me he'd bought a goat. After I went through every goat joke I could think of, and told him that I'd heard that goats would eat anything, including shit, he told me I was wrong.

He told me that goats would eat many, many things, but not shit or license plates.

I retorted that the "My Pet Goat" reader-in-chief had been feeding the rest of us shit for 4 1/2 years and there were too many people that seemed to eat it right up.

Now, my acquaintance is a conservative, and although I knew this, I mistook him for a somewhat intelligent Republican. He went totally bugshit over my attack on "his president" and told me we "have nothing more to talk about."

Although I won't lose any sleep over this, I hope he enjoys his pet goat. And, as vindictive as it may seem, I'd love to be around on the day my acquaintance discovers how much shit he himself has been fed over the past 4 1/2 years. Then again, maybe he's enjoying it and will never "get it."

1. hahahahahahaha
I have 2 Repub friends. We never discuss politics - although I'm chomping at the bit now. I do pass along some political stuff via e-mails, but never receive a response. Hmmmm - wonder why?

2. Our goat is the pickiest eater on the ranch
We have a pet pygmy goat. She is so fastidious, she won't even eat a piece of carrot that you've bitten off for her--human spit. It also can't be a carrot that has just come from the fridge--too cold. As for shit....Whoever came up with that idea? Ours refuses to even walk thru mud!

3. Just tell him you were testing his patriotism
Never can be too sure these days <Wink> <Wink>

The "My president!" reaction is consistent with cult programming.

Brush up on cult behavior and programming / de-programming, I'm finding this to be valuable information in making sense of it all.
