I Called My Congressman Today - What A Disappointment
I called my Congressman today, or more correctly I called his office in Morgantown, West Virginia. My Representative is Allan Mollohan, 1st District of West Virginia. He is a Democrat, I am told.

I asked the lady who answered the phone 'what my Representative was doing toward the impeachment of George Bush?' The lady was silent. I repeated, What was Representative Mollohan doing in support of efforts to Impeach President Bush - was she aware that proceedings had to begin in the House and that is what I expected of my Representative?' She said she wasn't sure what Mr. Mollohan's position on impeachment was. I said, 'that means he has no position, am I correct?' She said 'yes'. I told her in no uncertain terms that I expected Mr. Mollohan to give visible support to whatever movement was afoot in the House to Impeach Bush and that if I didn't see it then someone else would find my vote next time around. I made sure that although I was as polite as possible throughout that she knew I was dead serious. She asked for my name and address, which I gave of course.

I'm dead tired of a Representative that is quite as a door mouse in t his most important of times and if he isn't doing something I can see to rid our country of the plague in Washington then I'll find and vote for someone who will. If you have a mute Representative you might just want to give some thought to giving him or her a call. It only costs a couple of cents at most.

2. I'd ask Shelly Crapito, but that would be like asking Rush or Ann.
Let us know if you get an answer.
