Time to go "over the top?"
The more I think about it, and the more I consider the difficulty any of OUR views getting any attention in the Corporate Pre$$, the more I think it's time for someone to consider a couple of outrageous "publicity stunts." You know, like sky-diving off the Empire State building (not that I recommend this, actually--but something that will seem so 'over the top' that the corporate media will be dying to find out--"Why'd you do it?")

Or even stage a series of outlandish events...doesn't even matter what, exactly...only that people stop and go whoa :wtf:

Then have a short, prepared statement regarding the worst of this administration's abuses, or outright mistakes, and how disappointed all rational Americans are that so many people, including the media, seem to want to ignore what's going on.

"How can you tolerate this?"

I don't know...maybe it's a stupid idea. But I'm running out of smart ones.

3. When the Roberts Nomination Comes Before the Senate, Send Coathangers
I am envisioning thousands of coathangers being sent to our Senators
as they consider this nominee who will certainly vote to overturn Roe
if he is elevated to the Supreme Court.

5. Nice idea
but hard to implement... Getting anything to the Senators in DC is especially difficult after the anthrax scare--or so my local rep, Adam Smith" says on his website. He recommends sending any kind of snail mail to his local office rather than to D.C.

And sending something so oddly shaped probably isn't going to make the Postal Service too keen on it either.

6. No, but thousands and thousands of coathangers could
be draped all over the entrance areas to the Capitol... bushes, trees, fences, streetlights...

that might be interesting. and easily doable.

9. Hand-Delivery Would Make Better Television
Having an advocacy group collect them and hand-deliver them to key Senators
would make for better television. Each coathanger can have the name
and address of the person who sent it.

If we mail them, we must ensure that we comply fully with postal
regulations and do not unduly burden the Postal Service.

Let security inspect them.
Coathangers haven't killed anybody since Roe v. Wade went into effect.
