Other than wanting to nuke Iran, what are all these changes? I guess I've been living under a rock for a while, but I haven't heard what they are.

1. all I've heard him say is Bolton 'will help' the UN make needed reforms
as if the UN asked for bush's help.

10. That's the point isn't it - that bush knows best for everyone.
He rams bolton down the world's throat - instead of finding someone who knows what diplomacy means.

Here's a guy who couldn't do anything on his own and needed a constant supply of financial backers to stay out of jail and he's got the balls to tell the world he knows what's best for them.

Maybe that's why he falls down all the time - his balls get in the way of his stride.

4. What he wants to change is America's participation in the UN
He wants to achieve the rabid reich wingers' wet dream of a change, the US out of the UN. That is why he is sending such an obnoxious POS like Bolton in, to piss the rest of the world off enough that they never want anything else to do with the US.

6. Seems like it's time for the UN to move its headquarters to
Canada. Montreal has offered to host it. Then they can kick the US out as a rogue nation.

9. What effect would it really have on the US if they wihdrew from UN?
I suspect one would be to be able to operate unilaterally.

Beyond that, what difference would it really make?

And Bush gets the political cover to yank us out of the U.N.

The U.N. is an impediment to empire and must be destroyed.

All these far-right conservatives fear the U.N. as 'world government'....the ironic thing is that American antagonism is what will bring about 'one world government'

When the neocons get their dream of transforming our model of government after Nazi germany, rip the loincloth off of American imperialism and launch all out wars of aggression......the world will have to unite to stop us. And there is the seeds of One World Government.
