DIEBOLD Machines used in Ohio? |
|
Does anyone know if they're using Diebold machines today in Ohio? If they are, Hackett doesn't stand a chance.

3. they aren't HAVA compliant |
|
anyone who uses Diebold or Sequoia after jan 1 2006 in a federal election will be voting on a machine that violates HAVA so long as the rate of error is as high as it is.

I was hoping that things changed. Wally O'Dell should roast in hell, right alongside his pals.

2. welcome to du! In other threads, there's been mention of this district |
|
being so red they didn't put Diebold machines in - they are so sure it'll vote red.
Look for other threads talking about Ohio - you'll get a more definitive answer than mine.

If Hackett loses fair and square, I would accept it as unfortunate. I'm just so worried that the GOP machine will resort to the usual skullduggery to tilt election results their way.
Honesty and integrity are not a part of the GOP agenda. They will do anything to maintain their stranglehold on America.
Thanks for the welcome!
Cheers

11. If the republicans feel threatened, they will put republican owned |
|
electronic voting machine in place. And as long as the state in question has a republican Secratary of State, there is no way to stop the republican owned machines from coming in and stealing an election.
There are two democrat bills in Congress right now to change this, and to have some kind of accountability and paper trail...But republican majority Whip & Leader Tom DeLay and Dennis Hastert will NOT allow them to reach the floor for debate, the bills will never see the light of day.
So expect fraud, republicans stealing elections (so we can not take back congress) us sreaming about it, the media not reporting it and republicans taking their seats and business as usual!!

It's only what 250,000 people in a district? Seems like you could do a poll with a very low margin of error cheaply here. Not that that would prove fraud...just ad to the pile of evidence.
I think the GOP would mess with this race at thier peril.

6. Let's hope some election reform groups plan on doing some |

exit polling to compare results regardless of how the voting is done.

10. It will be an uphill battle for Hackett |
|
He is running in THE MOST conservative part of the state. The only way he will win is if Republicans are so angry about Coingate they stay home.
