China, Russia to launch 1st joint military exercises
Does This Bother Anyone Else?

BEIJING, Aug. 2 (Xinhuanet) -- China and Russia will hold their first joint military exercises on Aug. 18-25, China's Ministry of Defense announced here Tuesday.

In a press release, the ministry said the exercises, dubbed "Peace Mission 2005", will be carried out in Vladivostok in far eastern region of Russia and East China's Shandong Peninsula and nearby offshore seawaters.

The exercises will involve nearly 10,000 troops from the armies, navies, air forces as well as airborne units, marine corps and logistic units of Chinese and Russian armed forces, said the press release.

Chinese and Russian defense ministries signed a memorandum on conducting joint military exercises in July 2004. The chiefs of the general staffs of Chinese and Russian armed forces will announce the commencement of the exercises in Vladivostok on Aug. 18.

1. Well, there's a finger in the face of King George
Our little dick-tater-tot is doing his best to re-start the Cold War. Look for neocon pundits to tell us how this is a good thing.

When there is no enemy one must be created to keep the war machine rolling...

13. Eeeeespecially if making money is involved,...
,...in that perpetual "enemy-creating" machine.

Yup, yup, yup. Gotta' make money by exploiting folks in the very most bloody way,...in this case,...inciting another world war.

This cabal BELIEVES in destruction,...they really, really do. Yup. It has EVERYTHING to do with their strict self-interest in profiteering and power over others EG ANTI-DEMOCRACY, ANTI-FREEDOM, ANTI-EQUALITY, ANTI- FUNDAMENTAL HUMAN RIGHTS.

Yup.

2. just wait until they do broader joint exercises
ISTR there being a BRIC military alliance in addition to the SCO, BRIC being Brazil, Russia, India, and China. I sort of doubt Bushler has a coherent plan to fend off 3 billion people. I would also not be surprised to hear of a fair chunk of Africa and all of the former Soviet republics joining into the anti-US bloc.

Bushler is stirring up more trouble than can be dealt with.

4. The neoCONcorporacultists proved their willingness to incite world war.
I expected this reaction. What bothers me is that our neoCONcorporacultists are going to continue to incite this conflict unless they are indicted and removed from office.

12. It's a damn shame, isn't it,...that our own "democracy" is not in check.
Shameful. We are evolving into everything we swore we would escape from, without ever looking back.

But, here we are,...another tyranny.

Shameful. Shameful.
