46. yeah, baby, YEAH HA HA!
now....what are the demographics of this precinct

mydd.com has a breakdown of the state legislative districts, or whatever, and of the six or seven listed, only one is dem

"I drilled down to the more-competitive state legislative races for the Ohio House, at the county level, to see what the breakdown was in terms of Republican vs Democratic. I looked at the 2004 results for Districts 34,35,66,86,88, and 89, for those parts of the county that comprise the 2nd CD (the only Democratic district is 89). And overall, the results are just about the same as the above at the Presidential level."

the site, though, does not lend itself to optimism, based on the demographic makeup, as well as how heavily things have been against dems in the past

http://www.mydd.com/

hoping, and praying, too, though, even though I is a agnostic

69. Limbaugh,...called Paul Hackett a "staff puke." (from your site also).

OH-02: Rush Limabugh Slanders Paul Hackett
Posted by DavidNYC

Rush Limbaugh, on air, called Paul Hackett a "staff puke." Repeatedly.

Paul Hackett served as a civil affairs officer in Iraq. Eleven civil affairs soldiers and marines have died in the Iraqi theater. What's more, Paul Hackett led marines in combat while in Iraq. And, it goes without saying, he faced deadly violence every day he was in the country.

Rush Limbaugh avoided military service thanks to a pilonidal cyst. Paul Hackett volunteered to serve, even though no one had asked him to.

Rush Limbaugh (to no one's surprise) joins the long list of Republicans who, rather than respect those who have honorably served in our nation's military (as should be expected), instead disgracefully spit upon them. How disgusting. What is wrong with these people?

therefore they have to have an election for a rep to fill out the rest of his term. If a vacancy occurs in the Senate before the Senator's term is up, a replacement is appointed by the governor. Representatives must be elected by the people.

92. Scioto and Pike nearly went blue in 2004
These are the easternmost counties in the district, and are more Appalachian than counties like Clermont, which is basically an extension of the Cincy metropolitan area. If he could take Scioto that would certainly help to offset the vote in ultraconservative Clermont County.

Pike is very small in population so even if they did tilt blue this time it wouldn't make much difference in the overall outcome, unless the election is VERY Close.
