Dean is a Conservative, Clark is a Republican: Vote Kucinich!
Laugh, it's supposed to be funny! :)

If Kucinich, Sharpton, and CMB drop out, who will get their votes? Their people (5%?) plus green-leaning and other maverick Democrats, add up to a good sized block. Who will they side with?

Should we just vote for our favorite, knowing they won't win, to show how strong we are, perhaps even getting some delegates at the convention? Should we vote for another candidate that's closer to our views to prevent another candidates further from our views from winning? (Like voting for Graham to stop Lieberman).

What are the biggest issues with the Kucinich, Sharpton, and CMB people? Is the war in Iraq the main issue? Is it the saving the domestic programs that the Democrats have built over 75 years? I think all the candidates are pretty much acceptable on social issues. What's the major differences between the big candidates that matter most?

5. John Hagelin does not make Kucinich look like Leiberman
I know Hagelin and his Natural Law Party endorsed Kucinich, but Hagelin is more of a conservative than Kucinich. I've always viewed the Natural Law Party as a slightly-more progressive version of the Libertarian Party. Kucinich is a socialist progressive which is pretty far from Libertarianism.

6. good, third parties are worthless unless they can form coalitions
that's the way the American system works, like it or not. I don't know anything about the Natural Law Party, but the fact they are supporting a candidate with more name recognition shows they are smarter than your average third party. :)

Third parties should concentrate less on candidates and more on endorsing other candidates, and should shamelessly play the Democrats against the Republicans. Acting as a spoiler for one side hurts as often as it helps.

7. sure he does. sorry you dont admit it.
natural law & hagelin have a far more socialist philosophical base. the libertarian view they have is a truer socialist one, and a truer form of democracy then kucinch is espousing.

3. I second that
If Kucinich drops out and endorses a candidate in the primaries, I'll vote for that candidate. In fact, I hope that any candidate that decides to drop out see if they can agree on a candidate to endorse. If Kucinich, Sharpton, and CMB got together and endorsed someone, I would 100% vote for that person.

4. maybe you should title your thread more appropriately...
you raise some interesting points and questions in the body of the thread but the title gets it lost in a never-ending sea of cheap "my candidate is better than your candidate just cuz i say so" threads.

9. screw Marx I want an American populist like Kucinich!
America has the best economy, all we need is much higher unionization, and like Edwards said, a shift to taxing wealth, not labor.
