Not one word about the Ohio election on the msm...
funny because the country is waited with bated breath for the results...I've had phone calls all day and all night in regards to the election. Do they not have a clue that this is really important to a lot of people in the country? Maybe a bit more important than Cruise and Holmes?

1. It's a loss for the Republicans...they know it.
Regardless of the actual result, they've lost bigtime....this is going down to the wire and it was not supposed to be this close. They are helping out their political souil brothers by pretending that this is not a key political barometer for 2006.

3. I believe you're right,
but it's still going to hurt if Hackett isn't elected.

6. Cheer up.
What would change in Washington, tomorrow, even if Hackett wins or loses? Nothing much. But think about the significance of what the results mean. If this solid red district is turning 30-35 points, this is going to make a lot of Republicans sober up and realize that their Party might be over, bigtime, in 2006.

2. I heard about it on the news tonight.
I can't remember what channel, or if it was national or affiliate, because I was listening in the kitchen while making supper. (The TV's in the living room.) But they did say it was a heated race and if Hackett won it would indicate a major shift in public opinion away from the Republican agenda.

5. Who gives a shit about Cruise and Holmes?
Do you think MSM has any idea of what the people of the country care about -or are they trying to tell the people what to care about?
