1. Let us truly hope so ... |
|
Unless we want more of this .... http://www.newsparkproductions.org Peace. www.missionnotaccomplished.us - How ever long it takes, the day must come when tens of millions of caring individuals peacefully but persistently defy the dictator, deny the corporatists their cash flow, and halt the evil being done in Iraq and in all the other places the Bu$h neoconster regime is destroying civilization and the environment in the name of "America."

he was on Randi today, and he DID NOT BACK DOWN when she axed him about the Chickenhawk statement
WHEN are the dems going to absorb the basic fascist precept: NEVER apologize for what you've said
because, unlike them, you have the TRUTH on your side
remember, as Jacques Ellul said, merely repeating something over and over and over again does NOT make it true

People said if Kerry acted like Dean, and now Hackett, and went anti-war, he'd win in a landslide.
Hackett didn't win.

7. Hackett ran in a very heavy republican district. |
|
He's lucky he got 48% of the vote. I don't think there's been a Democrat who has come that close to beating a Republican in that district in like 20 years.
If Kerry had stopped talking in nuance and spoke plainly to the people and called these republicans in Washington what they really were, he would've won. Probably not by a landslide, but enough that the voting machines wouldn't have been a factor.

10. The problem is Hackett was the best possible candidate... |
|
we could have run in the 2nd district versus at best a below average Repub candidate. We still lost. This was too much a party vote and not a candidate vote.

or read any of the myriad threads at, oh, say, DU on the topic of how the fascoids have stolen everything in site, with EASE?

8. Take it to 'em and take it to 'em hard! |
|
We take a bruising everday by lush, hannity, o'lielly, and the likes. We've got to stop being nice and BE REAL. I think that there are some people that may come around if they hear this type of message. I liked his message and the very in your face way he delivered it. Let us pray that this is the trend for our dem leaders of the future. A big F.U. to Lieberman and his likes. Should go ahead and declare a change of parties if you ask me.
