about the special election in Ohio. I sasid that there should be DNC people on the ground there at once. Right now. They should catch flights now! Investigate this at once. It is proven that Ohio Republican officials are not exactly above board so demand a recount with equal amounts of reps from both parties present. I doubt it will do any good, but sometimes it feels good to vent.

You know, I really wonder what the DNC's Voting Rights Institute is good for?

The DNC VRI was established after the 2000 debacle, supposedly to help educate voters on their rights and responsibilities at the voting booth.

But I really don't see what good the VRI has done.

3. Too Little Too Late

The DNC and The DLC should have been on this weeks ago. It's clear that the blogs and Progressive Radio had to prod them into ANY kind of action and that's not only stupid, it's pathetic. There should have been polling place monitors, people on the ground handing out leaflets, TV and radio commercials, big money put into this race.

5. I heard Major Hackett on Randi's show tonight...

Man this is the candidate that we've been needing for a long time. His opponent was a simpleton who had nothing to offer but the same old RW platitudes. The Right Wing Media Machine was in full force nationwide slamming Hackett and threatening to "Bury Him".

They know how to move the people and mobilized for Schmidt. With the exception of the blogs and lots of talk on AAR and progressive radio, we let them do it. I'm getting sick of it.
