and still is since the degration of our Military is still allowed when it is being used to hurt a Dem and or Liberal individual, it should sicken all veterans that our own president and company did not denouce this behavior loud enough....

It should have been a wake up call for many at that very moment, I am surprised at how long it took for some to understand the implications of the viciousnous and uncaring towards all Americans by those that lead this country especially in a time of such uncertainity with this war.

Doubtless Hackett would be akin to a god to the GOP if he was running with an (R) next to his name.

I don't agree with Hackett on every issue, and I most certainly don't agree with every opinion of every soldier. But I can respect them for their service. I can lay off because they did something that I don't think I could ever do in going over to a warzone, literally hell on earth, and risking their lives. I would never in a million years trample on someone's military service, no matter how much I loathed their words or actions, and I wouldn't use their military career as a means of slander.

Now, Mr. Hackett will return to Iraq. My prayers are with him and his family.
