Based on how the Schmidt-Hackett campaign went down, we could be looking at an electoral sea change in 2006. It took the Democrats 40 years of uninterrupted power to get corrupt and decrepit. The Republicans only took 10 years, but they all have an enormous built-in advantage when it comes to corruption.

I like the unvarnished statement of liberalism, too!
