Apparently he's the son of some famous journalist, and has no idea what the fuck he's talking about.

Who's inviting these people? It's awful, and Franken doesn't challenge them very effectively. If he is going to invite these right-wingers to his show, he should allow listeners to call in to rebut their propaganda.

Nancy Dickerson was first White House female correspondent - widely rumored/believed to have had an affair with Lyndon Johnson. As in, that is how she got the job at CBS - close ties to Johnson.

I remember during the mid 60's to mid 70's (Hill talk) the often repeated phrase "She slept her way to the top" was actually true in her case. Although she was the first woman ... - she was never held in high regard.
