Martha Stewart's Home Confinement Release Delayed
I guess the world is safe for three more weeks:eyes:

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. - It was an unhappy 64th birthday for Martha Stewart, whose lawyer announced Wednesday that the electronic anklet she hates so much will have to stay on for an extra three weeks of punishment

Attorney Walter Dellinger said in a one-sentence letter that the home-and-hearth marketing queen "has agreed to an extension of the terms of her home confinement until Aug. 31."

Those conditions include staying inside her house in Katonah except for 48 hours a week of employment, food shopping, doctor appointments and church. And Stewart must always wear the anklet, about which she has repeatedly complained, saying it irritates her skin.

"I am not allowed to take it off at any time, and I am not allowed, while in my home, to have any padding under the strap," she once told fans during an Internet chat. "I hope none of you ever has to wear one."

and attend(ing) a yoga class nearby...

Stewart even boasted once that she had learned from the Internet how to remove the little transmitter..."

She shouldn't have gone to the yoga class, especially when she can afford to have the teacher make a house call. She IS allowed to set foot on her own property, isn't she? It's not her fault that the court didn't take into account that the home she'd been confined to covers a couple of acres. But if I were her judge, I'm sure I'd be more than little pissed about her transmitter boast.

9. No, she's NOT that free on her own property --
house confinement except for the 48 hours a week. No gardening, no nothing if it exceeds the 48 hours.

I can't believe she also can't put padding under that thing.
