Interstellar aliens, I greet you with candy and flowers!

UFO Spotted Over New Hampshire Twice
Is New Hampshire being stalked by a UFO? Two people on two separate days have spotted what appears to be the same unidentified flying object soaring over the skies above Exeter.

The Exeter News-Letter and TheWMURChannel report the two strange occurrences. The first was spotted on Wednesday, July 20 by a man who would only identify himself as David, a 48-year-old Navy veteran and former pilot. The size of two aircraft carriers, the UFO started as a cylindrical shape and later stretched out to twice its original size and then suddenly and swiftly disappeared. It was silver and metallic in color but then turned to orange with flames underneath it. Although he did not share this experience with the local police for fear they would not believe him, David did provide a detailed account to the National UFO Reporting Center in Seattle.

The second sighting was seen by a woman who, like David, would only identify herself by her first name, Lucienne. She told the Exeter News-Letter that she saw the UFO on Monday, July 25 at noon while she was standing in a meadow behind her home. The UFO appeared to be long in the shape of a pill. It had rounded ends and was longer than it was wide. The object was ringed by dark spots that Lucienne assumes were windows. Before the UFO disappeared, she said just what David did: It stretched out to about twice its normal size. The UFO hovered for about 30 seconds. She claims she did not read about David's encounter with the UFO until two days after she saw the one in her backyard.

19. Aliens are University of Tennessee fans?
Obviously, they took a wrong turn at satellite No. 340 because Tennessee is a little further south than New Hampshire.

However, I see they've brought their tailgating equipment just in time for football season.

(In case some of you don't get this, UT's colors are orange and white).

1965, The Exeter, New Hampshire Encounters

In 1965, in the city of Exeter, New Hampshire, a series of UFO sightings took place which gained vast media attention, and became the subject of the book, "Incident at Exeter," by John G. Fuller. The sensational happenings were also featured in a two-part article in "Look" magazine. The remarkable chain of events in New Hampshire began with a man named Norman Muscarello, who was hitchhiking back to his house in Exeter on Route 150. At the time, Exeter was a small New England town of about 7,000 people. In the wee hours of the night on a cold, September 3, 1965, eighteen-year-old Muscarello made his trek. It was about 2:00 A.M. that this lonely hitchhiker first noticed an unusual light in the dark skies. The light became an object, which suddenly came from the sky towards the young man. The object was described as approximately 90 feet in diameter, with bright, beaming lights that appeared around its rim.

They're going to be well under the wire for New Hampshire's residency requirements -- although their presence may lend an entirely new meaning to "illegal aliens."
