Novak Suspended for Walking off Set
Sorry if this is a dupe...

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20050804/ap_on_en_tv/tv_cnn_novak

NEW YORK - CNN suspended commentator Robert Novak indefinitely after he swore and walked off the set Thursday during a debate with Democratic operative James Carville.

The exchange during CNN's "Inside Politics" came during a discussion of Florida's Senate campaign. CNN correspondent Ed Henry noted when it was through that he had been about to ask Novak about his role in the investigation of the leak of a
CIA officer's identity.

A CNN spokeswoman, Edie Emery, called Novak's behavior "inexcusable and unacceptable." Novak had apologized to CNN, and CNN was apologizing to viewers, she said.

11. No kidding.
He should have been fired as soon as the name was leaked, IMHO. Inexcusable. Of course, in today's GOP-dominated world, saying "bullshit" on-air carries more consequences than endangering national security.

7. OMG. It was too easy.
Good riddance. Maybe this is a start. I'm surprised CNN suspended him considering the amount of BS that they had allowed him to get away with over the years. Maybe this is a turning point. Hey all you lying right wing pundits, consider this your warning.

9. My Email to CNN obviously had an effect. (Among thousands of others?)
My message to CNN:

Robert Novak's continued association with CNN betrays an ethical corruption at CNN. Mr. Novak's behavior on today's "Strategy Session" - angrily yelling "I think that's bullshit!" and stalking off the set - portrays a mentally ill partisan zealot who's obviously incapable of offering the viewing public any rational perspective whatsoever.

It was delicious to write that.

12. Haha...you never know!
As if saying "bullshit" was the reason CNN needed to kick his sorry old ass off. I won't complain though ;)
