Why are there breaks in the KGO streaming audio ?
It's like you're listening to AM radio in the car when another radio station on the exact same frequency cuts in.

1. I've been told that advertisers have to pay extra to air on the net.
I have no idea how much extra, but they aren't willing to do that, so all ads are shut out.

BTW, KGO is not the only station to do that. I get the same thing when I listen to my Steelers during FB season.

As far as I know, most of the ads are for local businesses that see no advantage in advertising to anyone outside the area.

3. I don't know. I listed to it all night (except when I fall asleep) and
I've not noticed any problems.
