No one in the television news has touched this, cept maybe Keith, which I wouldn't doubt, but the Daily Show is watched by millions! Jon just broke the story for oodles of people that had no idea it even existed.

It's a good show to see all the way through, a solid :30 minutes of Late-night Comedy (22 1/2 for those with TEVO).

as to your Q :

We don't really mind the french fries being called "french"; calling them freedom fries was an entirely different matter...

As anyone who has some empirical experience will tell you, THE best french fries (frieten as we call them) are found over here. Have a portion with some mayonaise (not the dutch sweet version) and ...mmmm...

Since the belgians, especially the dutch speaking ones (the flemish) don't have a big "ego" as a people, we don't "claim" the fries :-)

But looking for beer, chocolate or fries you definitely should stop over.
