In the old days, black were not allowed to vote because of laws that erected barriers to their voting. Now the barriers they are erecting are requiring a photo ID, in Wisconsin it has to be state issued. many of these people don't have cars, so how do they get to the Department of Motor vechiles to get the ID? It takes hours of work, why are we erecting this barrier? I think we all know the answer to that. but it comes down to one sentence.

If anyone reading this is within driving distance of Atlanta, get in your car and be here Saturday morning. Please come - this is of vital importance. GA's GOP controlled legislature (first time they have controlled since Reconstruction) has rammed an ultrarestrictive voting bill down our throats. It's up for approval at the Justice Department and we must show them that this new GA law cannot stand! Please help up!

2. Every state will issue an ID card that is not a Driver's License

If I don't have to prove who I am, it would be very easy for me to vote numerous times in numerous precincts on election day.

4. As long as there's no fee for the ID, then that's fine

But if they charge for everything that is accpetable as proof of identification for voting, that would seem to be against the law.

5. In most places there is a fee for the ID

I just got one last week, since you need identification to open a bank acount, and I do not drive.
