IF liberal Boston = priest abuse, THEN Bush's Iraq = Abu Ghraib |
|
The first precept as presented by right-wing idiots Scarborough et al is completely devoid of substance/reality since the Priests in charge in Boston are NOT liberal - so what is actually proved is that the conservative Catholic Church's priests who abstain from sex are potentially dangerous due to the unnatural abstention from natural human socialization & body function. There is also an aspect to this that verifies a theory I have that perverts are drawn to conservative circles for various reasons that should be obvious to many who think about it.
BUT
...if the right wingers WANT to use this sort of reasoning - i.e. that the behavior of people high up in a hierarchical structure is responsible for the behavior of the people below them, then it is clear to me that Abu Ghraib is a direct result of Bush's lack of empathy for the suffering & dead - which I believe is a direct result of his latent & nagging addiction to drugs & alcohol.
We have a sociopath in the White House folks - let's hope he doesn't turn into a psychopath when his crooked minions are thrown in jail and he has to do something besides vacation...

that most conservatives have no problem with what happened at Abu Ghraib. Most think that torture is an acceptable interrogation technique. Most think that what happened at Abu Ghraib didn't rise to the level of abuse. To associate bush with the abuses at Abu Ghraib raises his stature with the average neo-con/theo-con.

2. Good, let them boast about loving torture to their wives at home |
|
See if they can convince them that sending their kid to war under a President who thinks torturing prisoners is OK and that the Geneva Convention is "quaint"
