Gas Prices here in The Dump (Tucson, AZ) 2.42 (Regular Unleaded) |
|
I bet the only cities beating us here are probably in Cali.
All I can say is the bus (as shitty as the system is here because The Dump doesn't have a real transit system) has become my new best friend.

4. ahhhh back in good old New Yawk |
|
You know what if I was living one of the major boroughs again I would in a way be understanding to gas prices (first off I probably wouldn't even own a car) because it's a real freakin city at least.
The Dump here has NO excuse to be having major city like prices as it does. Anyplace whose downtown looks like Somalia should not be having east coast like inflation.

3. Someone has to pay for dead Saudi king's funeral.... |
|
dah! Saudis must build a palace as his grave, and he must be buried in gold and diamond studded robes. The rest of the world must pay for the Saudis extravagant life-style.

14. tofunut's right I am describing it as I see it |

and look if you live in Tucson and you take such great pride in this pathetic city don't bother I've lived here long enough I've worked here long enough I know this place front and back yea sure the sunsets are nice the desert looks beautiful in the fall but those are its only redeeming qualities. This place is far too freakin hot for human beings, it has NO economy except for how many stores Wal-Mart wants to add, it hates teachers and education as last I checked our entire state is ranked only below Mississippi when it comes to education funding, The University of Arizona is the other economic lock which is PATHETIC in a city of well over a million (and I say this as an alumnist) and as far as this being the liberal hotbed of Arizona that's total and complete bullshit, the Democrats here would be considered right of center Republicans in normal states as a whole, (want proof? check the stats of who voted for Prop 200 with those numbers that means lots of you so called Democrats supported it here in Pima County)
I could go on and on and on and on but instead I'm looking for ways (a fucking job elsewhere) to get out.
