Anybody get a response from CNN? I did.

At first I just got an auto respose stating the volume of email they recieve, blah, blah, blah... so I fired one back saying "I will never be watching CNN or it's affiliates ever again(I never do anyway) and I am instructing my family and friends to do the same." They finally did sent this back to me:

Thank you for your email to us concerning Bob Novak.

Mr. Novak's behavior on CNN during Thursday's broadcast of Inside Politics was inexcusable and unacceptable. Mr. Novak has apologized to CNN, and CNN apologizes to its viewers for his language and actions. CNN has asked Mr. Novak to take some time off.

What a bunch of bullshit! :D

The public does not benefit from CNN showcasing his perspectives. Unless they were to present him as an example of partisan zealotry causing detachment from reality and hypocrisy in stated values, his punditry is valueless.

My response:

I appreciate your response to my email concerning Robert Novak and his behavior on "Inside Politics" yesterday.

"I am very surprised (and quite disappointed, actually) that CNN has not opted to terminate him. Or, at the very least, Mr. Novak's connection to the Valerie Plame scandal should have, in my opinion, prompted this action a long time ago -- and his behavior yesterday should then have resulted in termination.

It is beyond my comprehension that CNN apparently views the behavior that Mr. Novak displayed yesterday as far more serious than the fact that Mr. Novak may have directly contributed to (1) the outing of an undercover CIA agent, and (2) a loss of national security as a result of this outing.

To my way of thinking, Mr. Novak's reputation as a professional journalist and commentator in no way compensates for his apparent lack of regard for our nation's security, as well as, in light of his behavior yesterday, his apparent disregard for your viewership.

Thank you."
