I mean "on double secret" background, Rove told Cooper that, while he didn't know her name, Wilson's wife, not Tenet or Cheney, sent Wilson to Niger.

Oh, and Rove found out through another reporter.

But once he did find out, he started to call everyone, including Novak, to warn them not to believe that Wilson guy.

And Novak, wanting a name, not just "Wilson's wife" looked her maiden name up on Who's Who in America and then identified her by her professional name, which just happened to be her maiden name. And he identified her as an "operative" just because that's his once-in-a-blue-moon way of saying "political player".

And they laugh at our "conspiracy theories"????? :eyes:
