Would you protect a broken down shanty whose foundation is rotting? |
|
I think more and more Americans are starting to feel that way. :-(
Who's gonna fix it?

1. If it was the only shelter I had |
|
and the only roof over my head I was likely to get, damn straight I would!

2. But, the full argument should read: |
|
Would you protect a broken down shanty whose foundation is rotting if it were sitting on an oil rich parcel of land?
(To answer your original question, however, if the broken down shanty with the rotting foundation were my home, yes I would protect it - oil or no.)

it is the rich man who can walk away from a home, he has others, donald trump can afford to cut his losses and have bankruptcies
it is the poor man in the falling-down trailer who defends it to the death, what choice has he got

4. I don't know, what's it pay? |
|
I don't think the question is "who's going to fix it," rather it's "when are they going to be done destroying it so that we can get going on fixing it."
