After watching the video it's obvious Novac feigned anger and stormed off simply to avoid the upcoming discussion of Plame.

It was not a 'meltdown'.

It was premeditated.

The book that he claimed he learned Plames name from was on the table in front. He kept glancing at it and I think they were going to call him on it. It is in both videos from CNN and Daily Show on crooksandliars.
