4. he's actually going after Allen about AlSadr meeting with Jafir, or |
|
however you spell it
he even followed up a couple times emphasizing how the US sees him as a MURDERER, a terrorist, etc.
asking Allen how on earth they could be meeting with a wanted man.....
surprised at that, to say the least

6. Allen is in the studio; Boxer is remote (without monitor?) |
|
Any time the talking heads have one 'side' in the studio and the other at a remote location (usually without an on-air monitor), they've tilted the playing field on edge. You'll find that the in-studio guest is far more able to demagogue and filibuster - and has far more frequent rejoinders.

8. To be fair, the "monitor folk" choose that route. |
|
They feel it's better to be on TV somehow than not at all.

7. ya know, they pretty much both said the same thing: we have to |
|
train the Iraqis as fast as we can, and GFOutta there YESterday
she was just more realistic and critical of the junta, of course, than was Allen
but, then, what else is there?
we're totally screwed for the next several generations, no matter WHAT we do, no matter HOW LONG we stay
there is no good way out, unless Dr. Who can find this century

9. What should be sobering is the fact that Allen......... |
|
is possibly a serious candidate for President in 2008.
