Republicans are too weak to wield power for the good of our nation.
Republicans are too self-centered to be capable of serving the interests of others.

Republicans are too greedy to care for the weak among us.

Republicans are too ambitious to advance democracy.

Republicans are too shallow to value our people and soldiers.

Republicans are too cynical to be honest about their motivations.

Republicans are too rigid to allow innovation (unless profiteering is involved).

Republicans are too controlling to maximize human potential.

Republicans are too loyal to themselves to render justice.

Republicans are too selective to grow a healthy nation.

3. True. All of life is NOT "political".
Most of us live in work, family, compassion, spirit and struggle.

8. What's the adage about the over-confident being guaranteed a fall?

All I know is that, arrogance proves to be blind and reckless.

7. The sad truth is this was proven once before and it took...
...the Great Depression to rid ourselves of them for a time.

They are trying to turn back every thing that happened since that time and sadly not enough people are alive to remember that these odd notions that corporations care about people and that the rich are somehow blessed and chosen by God to be rich and we should look up them, is total hogwash.

12. Einstein said: "The minority, presently the ruling class,...
,...has the school and the press, and usually the Church as well, under its thumb. This enables it to organize and sway the emotions of the masses, and use them as its tool."

Einstein was more than a brilliant "scientist",...he was a caring human being who observed human experience and invested his life in making life better for everyone.

13. I suppose I should have qualified with "Republican representatives".
The qualification would be more accurate since I know many registered Republicans who do not fall within the characterization of the OP. Still, they do support the party rather than stand up for the basic principles which make us all Americans.

14. that is all a given; which is why they have to repeatedly:
lie, cheat, bloviate, steal, obfuscate over & again while performing vast feats of nepotism & non-bid cronyism to accomplish their nefarious ends. were people to have a glimpse at what were more truly on their collective minds nobody, and i mean nobody would vote for them but for their donor list which is primarily derived from a very thin slice of americana when it is all said & done

they are too extreme; america is imo governed best from the center & with an even hand

17. ...too blindly proud to emulate the successes of other nations
Edited on Mon Aug-08-05 01:30 PM by YOY
Too willing to accept "pride" for doing nothing worthy of note.

To wanting to wear the label of "hero" without earning it by going above and beyond the call of duty.
