I'm pissed!! DU double-standard. Don't you care?

I have recently noticed DU Hypocrisy when it comes to posting on Israel/Palestinian Issues vs. anti-Christian posts...I'd like to know why. It angers me.

I'd like to know why it is that if Israel or the word Jewish is mentioned in a post, it is immediately referred to as Anti-Semitic and attacked, or it is moved post haste to a remote board, hidden away from general discussion and debate. If, on the other hand, it is Anti-Christian, there is no such move. I am NOT anti-semitic, but I am NOT pro-Israel any longer. I used to be until, ironically enough, I learned from DU about Neocons, JINSA, AIPAC, and the historical role of Israel in the current state of world affairs. Palestinian/Israeli conflicts should not be banned from general discussion. If they are banned, then so should anti-Christian posts. This type of hypocrisy reeks. It's no wonder the Democratic Party has such problems...they can't even discuss the obvious elephants in the room, but at least they don't LIE about the obvious, like Republicans. I have family members by marriage who are Jewish, I have friends from Israel and American Jews, and I know and respect many professional Jewish people.

How can Israeli settlers feel so entitled to land they basically snatched from someone else... and very recently at that? I mean as a displaced people, don't they see the hypocracy?

I don't believe in religion of any stripe but I agree with what you are saying. Saying that you are anti-semitic because you disagree with how Israel operates is like saying you are anti-american because you disagree with this administration.
