Just for me. My labrador likes the smell.

Will it do any good?

I doubt it.

Except for me. I can't (won't?) afford to go to Crawford. I could if I wanted to loose my job and house... Not yet, but it's getting there.

30 years ago, I marched and carried signs all over the country. I was young and would live forever. I faced off with the SS and spent more than a few nights in jail. I was beaten and harassed for my antiwar beliefs then and up until recently, I thought my job was done.

It's not.

God help us all in making the decisions that need to be made here in the near future. I'm of the opinion that the current situation is far more dire than what we saw back then. It's as if they picked up at the end of the Viet Nam War and started all the bad shit all up again.

It may be too late, I don't know. I'm older and with less energy than I had those many years ago. It's still up to me, but a torch has to be passed to save this country. I give it to you my younger friends. Carry it on and we will follow in what ways we can.

Peace.

It's the only way.
