Poll question: Gibson to restage crucifixion of Christ
Edited on Mon Aug-08-05 10:29 AM by BR_Parkway
SYDNEY, Australia (AP) - Actor-director Mel Gibson has been asked to recreate the crucifixion of Jesus Christ in the streets of Sydney if the city is selected to host a major Catholic gathering in 2008, a newspaper reported.

Gibson's staging of the Stations of the Cross, a live interpretation of Christ's final hours, would be part of a bid by the city to secure the Catholic Church's World Youth Day in 2008, the Sydney Morning Herald reports.

So it begs the question, who should he crucify? Which one of these loudmouth Pharasees thinks he is better than Jesus to here them talk?

4. You know what would be funny...
Is if dozens - and if possible hundreds - of other Jesuses showed up dragging their own crosses and surrounded the guy who will be playing Jesus so that no one knew who was the "real" one.

Oh, and one guy named Bwian (Brian).

Thwow him to the gwound, centuwion!

6. South Park
Anyone see the MG Passion on South Park. Freaking incredibly funny. Mel basically wants to be tortured himself...what a whacko

Why don't they focus on the love of Christ, the message of Christ instead of being fascinated with torture, blood and "sacrifice". They are a sick bunch.
