1. I think it is Waco. But I don't know who flies in and out of there.
It is a regional airport.

2. Austin
I think there's some little dinky thing in Waco, but otherwise, Austin is about an hour away.

6. You thinking of heading down there?
Waco's the closest well-known city that I'm seeing on mapquest.

12. Take Continental or American into DFW,
then you can transfer into Waco.

Rent a car in Waco, and you're set.

8. Waco

But, it's probably easier to fly into Dallas/FtWorth and drive...

16. Waco's maybe 15-20 miles from Crawford.
Edited on Mon Aug-08-05 12:02 PM by BullGooseLoony
Gotta head west down highway 84, then turn off and head north a bit. Gotta go around a rather large piece of water.

Dallas looks to be about 80 miles north of Crawford (rough estimate).

Austin looks to be slightly closer than Dallas, but to the south.

20. Yeap. Here's a google map ...

Will, Waco is the closest commercial service airport - the answer to your original question.

I just find it easier to fly into DFW from Boston on AA - direct, non-stop. Jump in a rental and drive. Not aware of direct flights from Boston to Austin.

We'll make sure someone can pick you up and deliver you there or help you with any other arrangements. Just let me know.

18. Thanks!
I guess the last bit I need is driving directions from Austin to the camp. Or do I leave the car somewhere and take a bus? How do I get to the spot itself?

The Peace House is serving as base (food, water, media you name it).

The PEACE HOUSE is easy to find.

29. That right - Houston InterContinental Airport.
I refuse to say the criminal's name.

I had to fly it back and forth once a week for three months ending in this July to work on the casino we were doing in Lake Charles, LA.

Take a Continental Express - they have tons of flights to every podunk and village idiot in that state.

Sometimes it's the ONLY flight.

It's exactly that spontenaity, the POWER OF NOW problem-solving-truth-speaking-CAN-DO spirit of the American people that the ROTW has so long admired!

TPTB want to drag Cindy Sheehan away as though SHE and we, who pay their salaries, are in no position to demand ACCOUNTABILITY.
