I just emailed the DNC to give them a little piece of my mind.
I just want to know where the hell they are? Are they going to let the right wing talking machine sit there and bash Cindy???
Why aren't they at her defense? Why aren't they coming out with talking points?? There should be a statement of support from our side whenever she is mentioned in the msm.

And where were they in the Hackett race? The RNC poured $$ into that race. Look at how close we were to winning. Some help from the DNC could have put Paul over the top.

Is everything going to be left to the grassroots?

If that is the case, then we should tell the DNC to * off, and start our own party.

I donate a small amount to them every month. Maybe it's time to stop.

Here's their contact page if you feel the same

1. They had 28 DNC officers in Ohio helping Hackett. And they raised a
ton of money for him.

Maybe you need a little more research.

5. You mean Cindy Adam's blind piece?
Edited on Mon Aug-08-05 02:00 PM by WI_DEM
on edit: nevermind I assume you mean the Cindy Shaheen news. It's still early--we will see.

As for Hackett--the DNC has done alot on the ground. And yes, the Republican's put a lot of $$ into a race which they should have been able to win in a walk.

8. They did help during the final days because we asked them to
Now we should ask them to help again.

2. They weren't completely AWOL on Hackett
Edited on Mon Aug-08-05 01:53 PM by Dickie Flatt
I believe it was the NRCC not RNC that put money into Ohio and the DCCC came back with a six-figure anti-Schmidt ad. Both the DCCC and DNC promoted the Hackett race on the front page of their web sites (in fact Hackett is still the top story at the DCCC and multiple Hackett items remain on the DNC front page) and also provided information to the grassroots through email updates. The DNC also sent vice chair Susan Turnbull to the district.

4. I like the changes at the DNC that Dean has implemented.
I think he's doing a great job and certainly want him to continue to do so.

6. You know if Cindy was a republican, and AAR was
belittling her, and her efforts,
the right wing machine would be out in full force.

I just want the same.

10. Thanks for the link. Just emaled them to say they are threatening
to arrest Cindy on Thursday, but would they if enough Dem Senators and Congressmen were standing by her side? I'm just stunned at the silence of the Dem party on this issue; of course I realize that most of them voted for this war so their hyprocisy would come into play, but this isn't about THEM, this is about standing beside a woman who lost her son to their collective decisions. Now is the chance for some of them to redeem that poor judgement and show some backbone.

11. We all know the war was based on a lie. They voted for it now
they can step forward and stop it -- if they wanted to.

12. I'm glad you mentioned that about Thursday
because I forgot to.

That alone is one reason the DNC needs to look into this.

13. Since the reps are on vacation...
Any chance to get some Texas polititions involved? They know the people on the ground and would be able to help out more (in many ways) than the DNC anyway. Do we want any polititions/operatives involved? Will that hurt her message?
