David Corn: Why the AIPAC Indictment Is Bad News for Karl Rove
Just another interesting possiblity...

Last week, the Justice Department issued a new indictment of Lawrence Franklin, the Pentagon official accused of passing secrets to officials of AIPAC, the pro-Israel lobbying outfit. The indictment is bad news for the Bush White House and Karl Rove.

That's not only because the Franklin case is embarrassing for the administration, the Pentagon, and their neocon allies. (Franklin worked with Douglas Feith, who until recently was a senior Pentagon official close to the neocons.) The Franklin indictment is a sign that Rove and any other White House aide involved in the Plame/CIA leak might be vulnerable to prosecution under the Espionage Act.

I would not doubt that he does, as well as many other people for that manner. It's definitely a good thing.

4. What I find interesting about the AIPAC...
... indictments is the name and signature on the revised indictment which included Franklin, Rosen and Weissman.

Paul J. McNulty, US Attorney, Alexandria office.

McNulty was one of the lead US attorneys in Operation Ill Wind, the massive DoD procurement scandal that ran for years during and after the Reagan administration. Very thorough, and rather tenacious. Not a good sign for others in the Bush administration.

6. Add that to the list of people involved in black ops and other
illegal operations.

Iran Contra was like a prerequisite for people appointed by George W. Bush.
