He represents more of middle classed working stiffs like me than Maron, Franken, or two or three other well known progressive hosts. He is a man of the heartland and generally does a good job. And he sounds genuinely pissed about this Cindy Sheehan deal.

10. Yes, he's really upset |
|
he's going to call the sheriff ~ he says he has a feeling this story won't go away.
Now he has a freeper caller on ~ 'she's a security risk to our president' ~ Ed's asking her to explain that ~ 'she's bringing people there'!!
Ed says!! 'Well, maybe he ought to get his ass back to DC'. Maybe the American people want him to get back to work!!
The freeper is getting upset ~ because Cindy 'bad-mouthed' the president!

8. Great Show-With Real Consequences! |
|
:yourock: The great thing about Schultz is that he lets the show go where it wants to go.
And ... message to Frankin ... Schultz takes a lot of calls!
Today's show is just plain exciting. At the beginning of his program today, it did not look like it was going to revolve around Cindy Sheehan. But now it is ... and you can almost feel this story getting bigger and bigger and bigger.
This Sheehan thing is going to be big -- very big.
:woohoo:

9. I like Ed, but he does need some more researchers. |
|
He is a conservative, but he is also a populist and a progressive. We don't have to agree on every little thing. Reggie Rivers is somewhat similar. He used to have a local radio talk show on Denver radio. Now he has a column in the Denver Post. You may not always agree with him, but he lets you know how he reaches his conclusions and he makes sense. And he was a former football player, as well. I think he was a Bronco. Maybe a liberal radio station around Denver will put him back on. Big Eddie is on one out of Boulder.
