You know how the old Mary Tyler Moore show, Ted Baxter would refuse to go on vacation because he was afraid whoever stood in for him would be better?

I really enjoyed Ed's subs! That Stacy guy from SD and Jim Lampley and Bree Walker....I really miss the subs now that Ed's back too!

He went off on a caller who mentioned a possible conspiracy on 911. He apparently bought the company line on terra, blah, blah.

3. Jim Lampley was amazing! I guess I missed that part but I don't care for

talking about these theories on radio either - they just glaze over people's eyes since until someone is indicted it's all speculation.

He was very liberal and had a lot of good things to say about why we HAVE to be a liberal country and hopw we were founded on LIBERAL principals! I really enjoyed him.

the official gov. conspiracy theory about how 19 cave dwellers thwarted a multi trillion dollar defense system, attacked during a convienient 'war game' drill, made fighters stand down, and all without any help inside.

It was a last minute deal where for some reason Jim Lampley couldn't make it...I was surprised that she introduced herself as his EX! I thought they were still married ... their news anchor affair was quite a scandal back in the day! She was married to someone else at the time I think but I can't remember about him...

I would like to see Bree lose the whole anchor chick spatula make=up -- I think she's beautiful but she's blowing it in the makeup/surgery dept! I used to call her "Bambi" when she did the news here -- she had big Bambi eyes!

Goes away after a few weeks, you have to keep doing it....I dunno what else is going on with her face, her eyes look a bit tight but maybe she just has that anchorchick makeup going on.

Why do anchorchicks have to wear stripper makeup?? It's almost bizarre although so refreshing to watch Democracy Now and see Amy Goodman's normal, makeup free face!

Ed was good today. Some days it seems like he maybe slacks a little. Regardless, as long as he gets the ratings he is getting he'll not be replaced by anybody. Lampley rocked. Did'nt listen much to the chick on Friday(did'nt care much for her), though did catch that Lampley dislocated his hip that morning and could'nt make it.

26. yeah, Stacy is scary talented...

...for being "only" local, he's very very good. Super entertaining--he and his co-host/sidekick Scooter do the best satirizing of the chimp! They play a monkey call as the merriment escalates--hilarious. Almost makes the disaster in Washington known as the * admin worthwhile just to provide a target for their satire.

P.S. Stacy also doesn't have a felony conviction (as does the local popular wingnut host; of course said felony was incurred while ostensibly conducting the people's business i.e. being Mayor of San Diego :eyes: )

I googled her and sure enough she was a tv anchor in San Diego when I lived there. Says she's married to Jim Lampley.

On Edit~ I just read the post where it said that J Lampley is an EX of Bree's..I guess my link wasn't up to date.
