Petition To Get The Government To Stop Bothering With Videogames

For the people who think Jack Thompson is a whack job and needs to find something better to do with his time than attack The Sims 2 and other videogames here's the petition for you.

"Dear Mr. Thompson and all affiliated groups,

We the undersigned, are the users of video games and we feel that you are infringing on the rights guaranteed to us by the Constitution of the United States of America. We feel that the games you spend so much of your time attacking are intended for mature audiences and that we, the mature audiences are intelligent enough to make our own decision in regards to whether or not the material is suitable for our consumption. We are the parents of the children who you seek to protect, and we feel it is not your place, and not the governments place, but rather our place to determine what content is suitable for our children by making informed decisions based on the ESRB rating given each game before being published. While we appreciate the passion you have for protecting us from ourselves, the below signers of this document request that as of your receipt of this petition, you will cease and desist all actions on our behalf, and the behalf of our children.
