"The left thinks everything is political."
I read that on the internets last week. That's untrue, we're the only people paying attention.

1. Meanwhile the right politicizes science, education, science education
and..oh fuck..EVERYTHING under the increasingly warm Sun.

4. Which internet were you on
It may have been one of the non-political internets and the author had accidentally done an internet track shift without realizing it. Happens all the time.

6. Everything IS political...
for me these days. I can't watch, do, read, eat, drink anything without relating it to politics. I drive past a golf course, I think about politics...I make dinner, it's political...I see a movie, more politics.

I'd love to stop thinking about politics but yeesh! I don't see how anyone can stop thinking about what's happening to this country.

Another example. I watched a bit of the pre-season MNF game tonight. What did I think about? Al Michaels and his smarmy putdowns of Kerry during the home stretch of the 2004 "election."

13. I am a huge fan of classic movies
so I'm fucked.................

Just watched Inherit the Wind on AMC............ and then Elmer Gantry (I'm feeling the vicious cycle of history repeating itself)

15. not too long ago I watched
"The Manchurian Candidate." I love that movie but I can't enjoy it anymore. Also, so much for "Seven Days in May," "A Face In The Crowd," and "Bob Roberts."

14. wow, way off
I would be a hardcore republican IF they believed in the things I believe in. It doesn't benefit me in any personal, under the table sort of way if the democrats are in power. Why would I or any of you be playing politics? We're the only ones that care about real issue.

16. Meanwhile they try & pass policy which is 'policy neutral if not
outright risky' and they put these policies in place only for political reasons. Like SS. Or Tax Reform.

They just cannot stop projecting their horrid behaviour onto others. What a bunch of sickos.
