Anytime they say no word on US casualties, it's not good. Nothing is being reported on the MSM except the shuttle landing (for which I am very happy is safe). But this was supposed to be a huge bombing of a US convoy. no links yet.

1. Don't know
Sometimes what is thought to be a small bombing kills many, while other times what seems like a huge bombing ends up inflicting minimal casualties.

2. US good at sealing off area and imposing news blackouts
We know there were three Iraqi civilians killed. BBC got the original story out and reported that US troops had sealed off the area. Evidently there are NO US reporters in Baghdad today - but hey, it's just the capitol city and it's US troops being attacked- why would the news media or Bush supporters be interested?

4. Don't expect any news today
It's all about Discovery. Thankfully they landed safely for the crew and because so they won't be able to milk this one for the rest of the week. Tomorrow it's back to Aruba. Thursday, it's those two MJ jurors who know nothng about the process of law. Now who is missing for Friday? Damn, CNN just said there is other news - who would have 'thunk'?
