Why do I keep seeing the Heritage Foundation on Fox News?
Do you know who Roger Pearson is?

"In 1977, he joined the editorial board of Policy Review, the monthly Heritage Foundation publication in 1977. The Coors Connection notes in a caption under an illustration of Pearson's Eugenics And Race: "Dr. Roger Pearson's racialist theories are circulated worldwide by neo-Nazi and white supremacist organizations."

...

Roger Pearson became chairman of the World Anti-Communist League and was responsible for flooding European chapters with Nazi sympathizers and former Nazi SS officers. In 1978 he organized the 11th Conference of the World Anti-Communist League, but he later resigned after being accused of membership in several Nazi groups. Pearson left Heritage Foundation after a Washington Post expose of the racist/fascist orientation of the World Anti-Communist League. Pearson chaired the American branch, the Council on American Affairs from 1975-80, as well as the WACL from 1978-79."

Pearson was too extreme for the WACL?!

But, he was also a member of a group that is constantly seen in the MSM?

5. And on C-Span
There has got to be a special relationship between C-Span and the Heritage Foundation; so many of their guests are Heritage Foundation members, and so many programs are hosted by them. When I first started watching C-Span, I thought it was a joint venture.

6. How does The Heritage Foundation qualify for tax exemption?

Is there any doubt in your mind that these people dictate right wing policy along with the Federalist Society and some other Commissions and Foundations?

How do you think they like PNAC after they did all possible to put PNAC in office?

Here are the Trustees:

Here is the staff:
http://www.heritage.org/About/Staff/

Here are their Experts:
http://www.heritage.org/about/staff/experts.cfm

Staff member and expert, Carafano, was on WJ this morning.
Trustee names you'll recognize - Scaife and Forbes.
Staff name you'll recognize - Meese

So why are they on Fox? Fox is a partner of the right wing. The Heritage Foundation has a division that grooms editors, directors, journalists, reporters, show hosts, guest experts to dump and flood right wing propaganda on our country.

Their more important mission is to dictate and insure implementation of their policy for the U.S. on behalf of 'monied' people, plus followers of a narrow christians-judeo ideology.

(I purposely omit capitals for Christian when referring to right wing followers.)

7. There was one of these guys on C-SPAN this morning
and HF was identified by a caller, I believe, as a liberal think tank. Needless to say, my eyebrows went up.

Liberal Neocons! Everytime I see Heritage or American Enterprise Institute, I expect the worst. I don't know when they will go away.

8. Heritage history
Good ol' racist Roger Pearson hasn't been part of the Heritage Foundation for a quarter century. For all I know he's dead.

I prefer picking on more recent excesses by Heritage execs, including this item that I posted in GD last month. It concerns a Heritage snot who "allegedly" beat up a bicyclist in DC:

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/07/01/AR2005070101881.html

It earned this guy #9 in DU's top 10 Conservative Idiots (#205) July 11!

http://www.democraticunderground.com/top10/05/205.html

(I was so proud!)

Seriously, the Heritage Foundation markets itself as "mainstream conservative". I know, an oxymoron, but it makes them all the more dangerous. I'm not surprised to see them on Faux, but it's disappointing to see them on CSPAN...
