Action alert, letters to local media to support cindy
I just sent mine, bellow, (and if you are a relative of a service member or former service member, emphasize this in the letter)

To the Editor,

Today a woman seats in Texas, waiting to see the President of the United States. This man ordered her son Casey, as well as many others like Casey to Iraq. What was the Casus Belli: WMDs. There were other reasons given, but as we now know, all of these shifting reasons for war were meant to fit a policy. The Downing Street Minutes prove this beyond a shadow of a doubt.

So today a woman is waiting for the CiC to come and tell her why her son Casey had to die. The fact is her son did not have to die. The fact is her son did not have to go to war. He was ordered to war by a President who takes his advise from people who wanted this war at the very least since 1998, when the signatories to the New Project for a New American Century sent a letter to then President Clinton asking for war. The signatories of that letter, are among others the current Vice President, the current Secretary of Defense, the newly appointed UN Ambassador John Bolton, and the former Under Secretary of Defense Paul Wolfowitz.

It is high time that the US Media discuss in detail the Project for a New American Century and in particular the white paper entitled "Rebuilding America's Defenses." This we owe to every vet, and every mother, and every Cindy Sheehan in this country. To put it another way, a long dead Marine put it best, war is a racket.

Sincerely,

XXXX
Wife of a USN Vet

8. I write my paper as often as they allow. (once a month)
They just printed one of the Cheney/Halliburton connection, and I just sent in one calling the bush administration cowards for targeting a woman, Valerie Plame and for letting Judith Miller rot in jail for a crime committed by one of their own. That letter was custom make for a red state crowd. A man doesn't attack women or make them pay for a crime they didn't commit. I am not a fan of Miller, but it is true that someone in the white house could come forward, confess, and Miller could go free.

If I could I would write one on Cindy, but the standoff will be long gone by the time it would be printed.
