1. At least in 2000, people had good-paying jobs
average salaries have decreased, home prices have soared. And of course, they don't talk about inflation.

5. In 1999
There was a gas station near my house where I could get regular grade gas for $.99/gal. Yesterday I bought regular grade gas for $2.63/gal at that same station.

7. Up here Gas just went up
to 99.9 cents/litre canadian. Figured it out to around $3.5/gallon US for those who wanna know.

And we produce all our own. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

9. In 2000 candidate bush and the repukes slammed Clinton and
Gore for those "high" gas prices and called on President Clinton to release fuel from the Strategic Oil Reserves and said that if he were Pres. that he would tell the Saudis to "open the spigots". :rofl: Five years later, bush** is holding hands with the Saudi Prince. What a crock of shit!
