Catapulting the propaganda |
|
First we have this: http://localhost/APWIREFEED/d8bsg9k01.xml">troop reductions likely Then we have: more troops necessaryFirst we have: insurgency worsethen we have: insurgency losing steamCan we please have someone who knows what the f is going on? Someone who thinks that things are serious enough not to go on vacation? Someone who will actually talk to us? Is it too much to ask?

1. The first time I ever saw the phrase, "catapult the propaganda..." |
|
...was years ago when I read a humorous article about cleaning up popular but vulgar expressions. One expression discussed was, "up shit creek without a paddle." It was euphemized as, "up a hypothetical estuary without adequate means of transportation. Another one was "sling the bullshit." It was changed to "catapult the propaganda." So, when B*sh made that statement, he knew what it really meant and he thought he was cleverly telling America how stupid they are to believe his lies.
Big yucks, huh? It's lotsa fun to be a lying president. :nuke:
