Jeb in '08? I hope I am wrong, but... |
|
I have had a bad feeling for a while now. I really think Jeb will be the GOP nominee in '08. And now that the WSJ is openly cheerleading for him, the bad feeling is turning into acute nausea: http://www.opinionjournal.com/columnists/bminiter/?id=110007078

5. It will end when one of two things happen: |
|
1) the sheeple get cold & hungry due to boosh's policies;
2) we get corporate influence out of our governement & elections.
Which will come first? I think #1.

3. Call me whacky but Jeb has a crapload of baggage and will never |
|
be president. First of all, FOLKS HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN FLORIDA. Second, people are wary of dynasties. Third, his family life is a mess. But... lets face it, if rigged voting machines are in play, Rodney Allen Rippy can become President.

he may well be the Slug nominee, but this country has had it's fill of bush's. So full in fact that even Diebold can't even help them anymore. Jeb can run, but he can't win. Ever!

6. Even the Freepers don't want a Dynasty |

Do a word association game across the country. After being the President's brother, what else comes to mind when you say Jeb Bush? TERRI SCHIAVO. That will not resonate well with the majority of the country.

7. So when they run the Prince of Darkness from Florida, |
|
will the "Liberal" media tell Americans about his wife who tried to smuggle jewelery through customs? Will they tell Americans about his daughter who stole a script pad to write herself a prescription for drugs? Will they tell Americans about his son who broke into his ex girlfriend's parents house and torn up their lawn? Will they tell Americans about his other son who was caught having sex with his girlfriend in the back of his SUV? Well will they?

And will the "liberal" media report that as well? I am really tired of living in a dream world with regard to our current media and what I think they should report!

11. I think GW wants to break FDR's record for being President. |
|
They won't rest until they have shattered every last shred of the New Deal and FDR's legacy.
