Backdrop where media reports from not part of shrub ranch....
Edited on Tue Aug-09-05 07:02 PM by cloud75
you've seen those bales of hay, old worn down barn and farm equipment in the background of those reports from reporters covering shrubs vacation at this ranch. Today for some reason on "the situation room" Wolf Blitzer asked the reporter to talk a little bit about where she was located. She admitted that they are 8 or 9 miles away from shrubs ranch and that the backdrop was not part of the ranch. The area the media reports from belongs to someone who allows the media to shoot live shots from there. This question came from out of the blue. Anyone else see this?

1. I don't recall the circumstances but
I knew this a couple of years ago, I think from CNN. I had not known that it was an issue.

6. nothing major just part of the smoke and mirrors to make shrub look like
a normal everyday down to earth guy...wouldn't be surprised if the white house suggested that backdrop and media ate it all up.

2. You see, I said this Fake Ranch story had legs
Now lets go teaste the Repubs about it on THEIR blogs, to draw them out into ridiculous justifications/explainations and give the story even more legs.

18. That's the way to do it
I'm going to go find pictures of their house and pool, and post next to the hay bales up the road. Underneath one I will put Ranch. And the other, Dime Store Cowboy, er, Neiman Marcus Cowboy.

4. I've known this (or at least believed) for years...apparently it's a
nearby ranch (?) whose owner has given Chimp permission to pretend it's part of his...I dunno. Probably they don't want media on the "real" place where they can see the multimillion dollar shack...

5. I didn't hear it but I'm sure it's true! From all I've heard
the closest anyone can get is about 3 miles away. Even planes can't fly over, that's why the only pics are satellite!

I guess, other than keeping up his pretense of being just an ordinary guy, I can't say that I really care.

Even Reagan RODE A HORSE, you pretender! No, Shrub would rather be with a CHAINSAW than a stallion. I'll bet those bales of hay are just styrofoam!

12. I saw it and started a thread on it earlier. I swear it was like Wolf
wanted to show the fakery (is that a word?). CNN has used this same backdrop for almost 5 years now and today he decided to expose it as the fake the president is. I have a feeling when he interviewed Cindy the other day, he came away realizing what they have been a part of. Let's just hope Wolf keeps exposing the brainfart who sits in the White House. Good for you, Wolf.

15. maybe Cindy blew the meida's cover...you see she has been interviewed
using that same backdrop...so when she talks about being miles away from the ranch the media says oh oh the viewers are going to catch on that we are not so close to the ranch. so they decided to come clean before being blasted by the blogs ( like we are doing now)

13. i doubt seriously that the question came from "out of the blue:"
I guess cnn was going to be "outed" faking a farm background for the fake president they cheerlead for so often. what a totally lame thing to do. why is he faking cowboy while msm just roots him on...

19. The keep replacing the hay bales.
Ever seen a hay bale after a few months outside? It either starts falling apart and turning gray or sprouts grass (depending on the rain). It was always clear to me that the set was bogus.
